How can this be done? A simple note in the additional information field?
Or there is a special field for this?
I guess it will be something like the text published on the page below.

Ok, I suppose we can forget them, but this are the names that were used for the
past 10 or so years ;-) If you think we should drop them, no problem, we will
drop them. PS: They were included only for historical reasons, just like
Win1251, Win-1251, CP-1251... has, personally I hate confusion too.

Have you taken a look here, you can get more info there and actually it mostly
answers the comments pointed out.

If I have to cut and paste this to the registration form, ok I will do it, I
thought it was enough to point people to the table.
