As exemplified as above two quotations, your opinion is full of self
contradicitons.

I recommend you to think much more consistently and logically before
saying anything as an application area directorate.

Wrong. You should read mails with the subject "general policy", and you'll
find you are wrong.

I must point out that there was no MIME specific discussion in the last
BOF.

PS
BTW, unlike area directors, an area directorate have, officially, no
power over IETF, I think. Am I correct?
